Is Seroflow Rotacap Advisable For Children?

Question: my son has swallowed a seroflow rotacap. He is 11 yrs old and weighs 40 kgs.
Brief Answer:
The dose is within acceptable limits
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Seroflo rotacap contains Salmeterol and Fluticasone within a gelatin capsule shell. For a child of 40 kg, it is unlikely to cause any harm and the dose should be well tolerated if it is taken orally as in this case. But still, in case any unusual symptoms are seen, please visit the emergency room of a hospital without delay.
Hope that helps.

In any case, visiting a doctor is a better idea
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. You should get the answer soon in case there is a network delay. Please do not use the answer as a parameter to determine whether you need to take the child to a doctor. Although I expect no harm, it would definitely relieve your apprehension if you take the child to a doctor.
