The admitting doctor can be able to help you...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Trika contains alprazolam which is a benzodiazepine. It is used in the treatment of sleep disorder (insomnia), anxiety as well as some depressive patients.
I am not very sure about the clauses of mediclaim insurances. However I do know that the admitting doctor can provide you a written script that she has no depression and that her current presenting symptoms has nothing to do with depression or her sleeplessless. I think you will be able to get mediclaim approval with a valid admitting doctor's letter.
Instead of you fighting with insurance authorities, I will suggest you to get back to the admitting doctor. He/she should be able to help you out.
Hope this helps you. Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards
