Is A Lupron Shot Post Radiation Therapy For Prostate Cancer Safe?
Question: I don't fell that you answered my question which was is it really necessary to take a Lupron shot after receiving radiation treatment for prostate cancer?

If you have metastatic lesions e.g involving the spine and the PSA levels are on the rise then Lupron would be the way to go despite the radiation therapy. The PSA levels would be monitored when you are started on Lupron.
