Brief Answer:
Several side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Gastric bypass surgery can have several side effects in the long run, due to bypassing the natural digestion process.
These include malnutrion, malabsorption, ulcers, vomiting, nausea, gallstones etc.
You need to shift to a different diet when you get the surgery done.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
