Hello,

her pulse rate is too low. She'd better visit the ER. Since she's taking metoprolol, that's probably the cause. Make sure she doesn't get any more metoprolol until she sees a doctor or her pulse rate recovers. The target rate is about 60 beats/minute. Whatever is lower than 45 increases the risk for severe symptoms. 35 is too low. You haven't mentioned any symptoms yet... Doesn't she feel dizzy?
