Brief Answer:
looks like a recurrent furuncle.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and carefully reviewed the picture.

It looks like a recurrent furuncle from the picture you sent. However, it must be confirmed by clinical examination by the dermatologist or surgeon.

Mostly, it subsides by itself or conservative treatment since it is a small furuncle but to avoid its recurrence I would advise you to see a dermatologist or surgeon who may go for surgical excision after carefully clinical examination.

A part of tissue is sent for biopsy for final confirmation of the diagnosis.

However, conservative treatment is also there but there is more chances of recurrence as in your case.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have more questions.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
