Brief Answer:
Could be blood clot ,needs to be revaluated ,

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that the red ring around urine that you have could be a string of blood clot .

This could have been formed due to minute blood oozed out from a superficial vein on surface of Enlarged Prostate

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem
1) Do you have any other urinary symptoms like frequency, urgency, nocturia etc suggesting obstructive voiding symptoms due to Enlarged Prostate which is very common at this age ?
2) Are you taking any drug like Aspirin ?

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.

Inthe mean while take antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin twice daily .

Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute .

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

You didn't mention bladder cancer. That was what i feared the most. I haven't had any more blood in the urine. My psa has been very low 0.8 but I have had prostititis twice in the last 8 years. I had sex for the first time in 2 months and this happened a day after that. I do have a bit of burning at tip of penis but i haven't been going more that usual.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

Bladder cancer is always presents with gross blood in urine (Hematuria) .
