Is A Surgery Necessary For Mitral Regurgitation?
Question: Had an echocardiogram last month after I started having PACs. The size of the heart was normal, but there was a trace amount of mitral regurgitation. No wall abnormalities were noted. I have some high blood pressure, used to drink and smoke heavily. I quit drinking two and a half years ago, but still have a cigar a day. Should I be concerned or will I need surgery?
Brief Answer:
No surgery at this time!
