Brief Answer:
Can you upload the x ray image?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Infiltration on chest x ray is mostly due to pneumonia (lung infection). And this can cause ventilation perfusion mismatch.
It will be of great help if you can send me picture (image) of the chest x ray.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Improvement depends on etiology.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
See, improvement depends on type of infection.
Means type of bacteria causing pneumonia.
If it is simple bacteria then, recovery time is 7-10 days but if it is resistant bacteria then duration might prolong, 2-3 weeks.
May I ask you few more questions to guide you further?

Brief Answer:
Does patient have previous history of tuberculosis or pneumonia?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
With this kind of x ray, if this is active infection them patient has to have symptoms like cough, fever, expectoration etc.
Since patient is asymptomatic then these lesions must be from old infection.
So please let me know
1. Was patient having any pneumonia or lung disease in past?
2. Was patient having tuberculosis in the past?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
