Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Normally before an in office endometrial biopsy, a dose of an NSAID is taken . This family of medications includes ibuprofen, naproxen, arcoxia, celebrex etc.

Many gynecologist perform the procedure without administering anesthesia and there are some persons who are able to tolerate this.
There are some doctors that use an anesthetic method called paracervical block along with the NSAID to help reduce any discomfort.

Paracervical block is method of anesthesia used in obstetrics and gynecology. It involves the injection of anesthetic to different aspects of the cervix that results in pain reduction to this area and the uterus.

Summary: (1)it is not unusual to administer no anesthesia but it can be offered if it is realized that the person is unable to tolerate the associated discomfort

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
