Brief Answer:
Can be threatened abortion.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A bleeding at 5 weeks with a positive pregnancy test is worrisome and is suggestive of a threatened abortion. If the blood test report and ultrasound scan are normal then there is no need to worry. You need a complete bed rest and progesterone supplementation to stop the miscarriage. In case the bleeding continues then you must consult your gynecologist for proper prescription medicines.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Miscarriage can happen.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
At 5 weeks a fetal heart beat is difficult to detect. Threatened abortion is a possibility. Do consult a gynecologist for progesterone supplements and other medicines to prevent miscarriage.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
No pictures are attached.

Detailed Answer:
There are no reports attached with the query. If the sonologist is saying that there was nothing in the sac then he must be correct. You might have seen some remenants of placenta or other membranes or endometrium.
