Brief Answer:
Amlodipine 5 mg should be taken initially.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query !

Blood pressure has been classified into five categories according to JACC.

Normal blood pressure < 120/80 mmhg
pre-hypertensive stage is 120-139/80-89 mmhg
grade 1 (mild ) is 140-159/90-99 mmhg
grade 2 (moderate ) is 160-179/100-109 mmhg
above that range, is severe hypertension.

Yoy blood pressure at age of 65 is 166/92 mm of hg.
Following the above criteria you are in Grade 1 mild hypetension. As age of patient increase major arteries get stiffened causing blood pressure to rise naturally. This is calle essential hypertension.

Target blood pressure at your age is less then 140/90 mm of hg.
As per you query i think initially amlodipine 5 mg should be started and blood pressure should be measured every 3rd day for 21 days.In case if target blood pressure is not achieved losartan can be added after that in low doses.
Try to exercise 45 minutes a day.
Eat low fat diet.
Sodium should be retricted

Regards.
