Brief Answer:
Probably low blood pressure.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Vertigo and clammy skin are mostly related to low blood pressure.

It could be also related to sudden decrease of the blood sugar levels, since she is diabetic.

If there are others symptoms that precede vertigo and clammy skin such chest pain or discomfort, shortness of breath, cardiopulmonary problems such blood clots for example should be considered as well, and an urgent medical evaluation is necessary.

In case there are no symptoms that may indicate cardiopulmonary problems, there is need to measure blood pressure and blood sugar levels for a couple of days.

These issues should be discussed with your wife's primary care Doctor.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
