Brief Answer:
if on oral or having alarming symptoms

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The blood sugar itself is not a reason for an emergency visit unless there are associated alarming symptoms or you are very concerned or you are using oral meds (therefore cannot adjust meds).

You should go if the headache is severe, if there is any chest pain or shortness of breath or palpitations or dizziness.

Frequency of urination, as the body tries to get rid of the excess sugar and slight fatigue are expected (however if extremely drowsy this is also a reason to be seen).

If you use insulin to control your diabetes and you know how to adjust the dose to bring down your blood sugars then this can be done.

If you use oral medication then it is not as easy to adjust the medication to bring sugar under control and in that case, you may need to be seen.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
