My wife is 23 years old ,have delivered a baby girl 18 month old by cesarian operation.
her haemogolobin is - 8.9
Bilirubin (Total ) - 0.9
Direct - 0.4
indirect- 0.5
Please suggest , Can she feed her milk to baby or not. Is there any change of infection in baby if she feed her milk.
What precaution in food whe should take?
What medicine she should eat.

The level of bilirubin will come down within a week or two but for hemoglobin she needs to take certain iron supplements.
Keep taking iron tablets given by her gynecologist.
Also ask her to take green leafy vegetables and lots fruits daily.
Drink ample amounts of water and fresh fruit juices.
Nuts like almonds and walnuts daily are also good and will help in gaining good health.
