Question: Received my lab results today from a three month check-up. I am concerned that I had a calcium level of 10.3 total protein of 8.0. Also, my cholesterol was up to 259, TSH was at 5.79 vitamin D level at Vit 2 at 2-VIt 3 at 11. I have history of Monoclonal Gammopathy with a high IGG , M- Spike of 1.3 and high lambda free light chain. The labs were run by my regular Doctor not my Oncologist. Should I be concerned.

Hi,
Welcome to XXXXXXX
Your reports are fine except high total cholesterol, and LDL cholesterol (calculated), and probably low HDL. I am sure as you have hypertension and kidney problems, you must be taking proper diet, exercises, and must be maintaing weight and abdominal circumference within normal range. You have slightly higher TSH, but normal T4. I think you are concerned about Monoclonal Gammopathy, and doing regular monitoring to detect early any complications due to it. You have not written what platelet disorder you have. What medications you are taking at present?
I have tried to answer with the limited information you have given. if you have any specific concern, you are most welcome.
