Is Coblation Nasal Turbinate Reduction Beneficial?
Question: Hello Sir,
Sorry, Last time I was not able to reach you on time on followup question.
your advised was
"consider Radio-frequency or coblation nasal turbinate reduction".
I have done sinsu copy and recent PNS Xray. have attached reports as well. Medication I tried but due to his drowsiness effect not taking for Log time.
I want to go for coblation nasal turbinate reduction. Please adivce will it be beneficial or not and how painfull or time taking procedure to recover after surgery and Cost for the same.
I have Sinus copy video. How Can I attach it ?

2. The coblation wand is disposable and ideally for single use. Hence it is a more expensive option than Radio-frequency (which as a non-disposable electrode). The technology is similar as far as the turbinate reduction is concerned.
3. The healing time after RF or Coblation turbinate reduction is at least 4-6 weeks.
4. Pain is minimal.
5. Cost will vary from hospital to institute and also whether a disposable wand is used or not.
