hi . im 22 years old and i jus found out that i hav a DNS problem in my nose . and this i got to know when i had applied for a known airline as cabin crew n they found out in my medical . now can they reject me on the basis that i have this problem? . and what can be done to my DNS problem? .please help.
Having DNS that is deviated nasal septum is a hindrance in some services like defence forces, airlines, high altitude works and so on. Secondly whatever the job may be, such DNS that is symptomatic is not good for your health too. Hence I would advise you the following: - Consult an ENT Surgeon for ENT Endoscopy to see for the extent of deviation, any other problems like hypertrophied turbinates, postnasal drip and changes in ears and throat. - CT scan of nose and sinuses. - Relevant tests of blood.
