Is Fluctuating Pain In Pinky Finger A Symptom Of Lung Cancer?

Any thoughts?
pain in pinky finger
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
End stage lung cancer does not present with isolated pain in the pinky finger. Its highly unlikely to present as such. x ray results are usually available within a few minutes. Such pain is usually the result of twisting injury often sustained during sleep. Traumatic cause is the most likely cause. Ulnar nerve entrapment at the elbow is also a likely cause. NSAIDs, B 12 supplementation alone are usually enough. Try to avoid any stressful work that utilizes the little finger. If you are still worried about lung cancer then your doctor may advise a chest x ray and blood counts for your peace of mind though he should reassure you first about the chances being really low.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
