Is Having An Elevated ESR Level A Cause For Concern?

Question: Hello I had esr level of 48 followed by fever...took streptomycin tab and m doing fine..is there anything to worry

You have high ESR and fever. It may be due to some infection.

You took antibiotic and if you are fine then nothing to worry. But if you have any other symptoms then you should go for further investigations accordingly.

actually I do not have any other symptoms.. so should I repeat the ESR TEST

Its very good if you don't have any symptoms. Still you should repeat your esr once. Because many a times patients remains asymptomatic for long time in some disease.
