Is Heart Attack A Risk Factor For A High BP Patient?
Question: iam 74 years.had a heart attack 12 years ago.my bp av over 24 hrs was 156/74.it should be below 140/90.i take 25mg of Atenolol per day.i have been prescribed 5/80 of Exforge which i have not taken due to possible side effects.i weight 75 kgs ride 26k at least once a week play 45 holes of golf a week and go to gym twice a week where i exercise under the suprvision of an ex phsyiologist.

However, the best approach would be to evaluate the framingham risk score which predicts the 10years probability of having a heart attack. my lipid (chlestorol) levels do not require medication.i would appreciate the framingham risk score.i can obtain them pathology unit
