Brief Answer:
You should go in to the ER.

Detailed Answer:
I see that we are neighbors - I am in XXXXXXX

I am concerned that your rate is not being adequately controlled and that in addition you are feeling ill as a result. It is time to go in to the ER. In the ER, they may give you additional IV medications to control the rate. They can monitor your heart rate and do an EKG to see how your heart is handling this. And monitor your oxygen level (with a painless clip on your finger).

When people feel ill from a. fib with a fast rate it is a sign that you're heart is not getting blood around your body efficiently, and it is time to be reevaluated urgently.

So please go in now. Do not let it go further. I don't want you to be scared by this but just to take action. If you are part of one of the health plans here - DeanCare, Physician's Plus, Group Health, you can put in a call to the on-call person (who will no doubt send you to the hospital). But either way, you must go in to the ER.
