Is Heavy Work And Weight Lifting Advisable When Having Bulging Disc ?
Question: Hi there , I am a beside nurse by profession thus doing sternous patient care in stroke unit . I had MVA and MRI done for neck and lower back pain shows multiple disc bulges to c3-c7 and annular tear at L5-S1 causing flattening of the cal sac .
My question is can I continue doing this physical stressful job or I need some light work in future to avoid further damage ?

Doctor is there a sure treatment to place fall these disc bulges back in place because i am only in my thirtees and have an infant to look after . Secondly pain killers are just symptomatic relief and for how long i should avoid heavy lifting ?
