Brief Answer:
Low hemoglobin levels are worrisome.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The admission to CCU depends on the physical condition of the patient. A hemoglobin level of 6.6 suggests a critical illness in view of pregnancy. This can lead to cardiac and respiratory complications. The blood transfusion can also cause cardiac overload and heart failure. She needs a careful and extensive monitoring that is possible only in CCU.
You can attach her further reports for a better evaluation.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
Needs proper monitoring in CCU till blood pressure and blood counts improve

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I have seen the attached reports. Her blood pressure is too low and she has refused packed cell transfusion. Her hemoglobin again has come 5.5 and platelet count is also decreasing. In view of malaria, spontaneous bleeding may start. She needs detailed monitoring and treatment in ccu. The treatment being given to her is correct.
She is 17 weeks pregnant as per USG.
Hope my answer is helpful.
