Is It Necessary To Have Pregnyl Injection Post Embryo Transfer?

Question: Hello, I'm doing my first IVF cycle. We have done ICSI for low sperm count. I am 37 years old, 2 previous miscarriages from falling pregnant naturally. I've been on crinone pesaries since after egg retrieval, and I had my 5 day embryo transfer on 27/01/2015. I just realised I was supposed to take a shot of 1500 Pregnyl on 26/01/2015, the day before transfer. I forgot! Does this mean the whole cycle will be ruined and I won't get pregnant? Is there any hope? I'm still on the crinone twice a day. Should I take the pregnyl now, 5 days post trasfer? I feel devastatated, like I've ruined the whole cycle. Please advise. Hello

Inj. hCG is just a support for luteal phase and nothing big.

This pregnyl injection can be taken now or even tomorrow. Missing this injection or delaying has absolutely no impact on the cycle and your pregnancy chances remain same.
