Is It Normal For The Spotting To Be Light Pink Or Brownish?
Question: Is it normal for the spotting to be light pink or brownish?
Brief Answer:
Can be a normal finding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A light pink or brown spotting before a period can be due to impending period or an implantation bleeding. If it happens after periods then it can be due to vigorous sex or a mild hormonal imbalance. You can wait for it to stop on its own and in case it continues consult your gynecologist for proper investigations to find out the cause.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Brief Answer:
Not due to pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Mild spotting can happen after ovulation. It is not considered as period. It is not suggestive of pregnancy. However it is best to wait for your periods and do a pregnancy test in case the periods are delayed.
