Age of my wife is 27
Thyroid profile was checked and normal
Ultrasound was carried out and found polycystic tendencies in the scan result
Periods are not normal from December onwards . During first week of feb , there was a miscarriage as well. From then periods used to happen 42 days and glyciphage was started almost 10 days before . Last period happened was on may 14 after a 42 days cycle. But now immediately after having glyciphage (for 10 days)got bleeding similar to periods

Brief Answer:
PCOD is routinely seen these days

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for the information.I understand your concern.
In my opinion polycystic ovarian disease might be the cause for irregular cycles.
Usually glucophage is given in PCOD.It increase the chances of conception.
PCOD is one of the treatable cause of infertility.
If not wanting pregnancy then oral contraception pills might be the line of treatment for PCOD.
If there is overweight or obese then weight reduction might be the most important thing in PCOD.Weight reduction of about 10% might make the cycles regular.
Adapt healthy lifestyle like exercise daily and take healthy nutritional diet.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.

Brief Answer:
Avoid stress

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion the bleeding immediately after a period might be due to hormonal imbalance.
The glucophage might not be the result or cause of bleeding.
Irregular bleeding might be seen in PCOD sometimes.
Usually ovulation doesn't occur in PCOD.Discuss regarding the ovulation induction drugs with your doctor. They cause ovulation in 60% in PCOD.
And glucophage increases the chances of conception.Dont worry.
Avoid stress as it is one of the causes of infertility.
But if the irregular bleeding continues then you might need hormonal medication.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
