Brief Answer:
Yes it is possible

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concern. Although There is not much history is available but it seems that you are using 150 mg of zolpidem per day for your sleep problem.

For the current dose you need to taper it down as abrupt withdrawal of zolpidem may cause seizures.
You can go in the following order
First week - 120 mg per day
Second week- 90 mg per week
Third week- 60 mg per day
Fourth week- 40 mf per day
Sixth week- 20 mg per day
Seventh week- 10 mg per day
Eight week- 5 mg per day
Ninth week - stop

I like to emphasize that you need to do this under medical supervision only. Taking medication without medical supervision can cause some side effects which are not easy to identify by individuals.

I also like to inform you that for sleep problem you need to visit a psychiatrist to identify the cause. There is lot of drugs which may be effective even at lower dose.

In such situations I prefer Trazodone 50 m which is quite good for causing sleep and have no tendency to cause addiction.

You can visit a psychiatrist in your city to get prescription and hopefully he will be happy to supervise you during withdrawal of zolpidem.

Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Brief Answer:
You need to visit a psychiatrist

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXX,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

As I said earlier option of trazodone can be explored in dose range of 50 mg. There are other multiple option but need careful consideration of your medical and psychiatric history before issuing prescription.

Taking 150 mg of zolpidem is very significant one and in my view only viable option in this situation is to visit a psychiatrist in your city as soon as possible.

Shifting suddenly from zolfresh to any other medication can cause even unconsciousness or onset of seizure which are medical emergency.

He will evaluate you further for cause of sleep problem and will guide you through the de-addiction from Zolfresh.

I hope this clears the situation for you.
Thanks and regards
