Question: I drink heavily n have taken 3 to 4 tramodal pills daily. My blood pressure is high (180/100). I eat healthily. I have doc appointment soon. Should I quit cold turkey now or wait? I've heard quitting cold turkey without doc supervising can b dangerous. Should I take aspirin daily in mean time. I'm 49 n 5'2" n about 115lbs. My blood pressure in past has been 90/60. Pretty consistently.

You said you take 3-4 tramadol daily , for what purpose you are taking it ? Kindly let me know . If your pain level has reduced kindly decrease the intake of tramadol.

Yes stopping Alcohol can have complications.. That too in view of your high blood pressure sudden stopping can further increase your Blood pressure . But you can definitely reduce the intake of Alcohol.
