Is It Safe To Breastfeed During The Use Of Misoprostol And Mifepristone?

Question: My wife is 27 years old having first baby of 9 months+ and she is pregnant now, 40 days of LMP.she had mifepristone 600 mg today and wil take misoprostol after 48 hours. Whether she can breastfeed at this course of time?

Ans: Yes, she can breastfeed her child without any untoward effect .
Explanation :Misoprostol is a prostaglandins and it is synthesized in gastric and intestinal mucosa , so a normal product of body.
While mifepristone act as progesterone antagonist in the presence of progesterone and as an agonist in the absence of progesterone.
So , don't have any harm to breastfeed her baby .
