Is It Safe To Continue Using Phentermine For Weightloss?

I was just given phentermine for weightloss and before that I was ordered to get my thyroid checked I already went to get my ultrasound and just have my blood work to get done. I have only been taking phentermine for 6 days will that effect my blood test should I stop taking it until after my blood test or will it be fine to continue to take it?
