Brief Answer:
Height increase is not possible by doing exercises and avoid lifting weight

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. At 22 years of age, your height will not increase further by doing exercises. Males stop growing at the age of 21 years and now your bones have attained the normal length.

2. Your MRI of neck spine shows mild degenerative changes. These changes are usually seen after 50 years of age and you have it at 22 years.

3. Hanging from a bar, lifting weights above shoulders and turning the neck might cause pain and discomfort. You can do treadmill and running. You should be careful when lifting heavy objects and not lift more than 5 kg above the shoulder.

Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. There are many exercises to choose from for patients who have cervical spondylosis. The exercises vary in effort and difficulty and should initially be done under close supervision of a physiotherapist. After doing it for a week you might practice the exercises at home.

2. These exercises involve slow stretching exercises of the neck and upper back region and should be done as per ones comfort. There are exercises which involved controlled turning movements at the neck, turning the head from one side to the other slowly.

3. The physiotherapist might also suggest traction exercises and this will help in relaxing the nerves and avoiding nerve pinching.

4. Application of heat and ultrasound as a part of physiotherapy might also bring relief to you.

5. Yoga postures might also help to minimize the symptoms of cervical spondylosis. Please consult a trained yoga expert before you do yoga exercises.

Hope your query is answered.

Brief Answer:
Please take betarat-C for some time more under medical supervision

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing back with an update.

1. The medicine betarat-C might be taken for some more time if you are feeling better with it. Please take it as recommended and do not stop the medicine without asking your doctor.

2. I am sure you will start feeling better with physiotherapy and yoga and when that happens then you might slowly stop taking betarat-C and continue without any medicines.

3. Taking precautions to avoid stress on your neck is important.

Hope your query is answered.
