Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome on HCM!
Regarding your concern, I would like to explain that both Hyzaar and Edarbyclor are combinations of an angiotensin II receptor blocker (Losartan and Azilsartan respectively) with a thiazide diuretic (Hydrochlorothiazide and Chlorthalidone respectively) and their mechanism of action is similar so you shouldn't worry about.
The only difference between them is the longer half-life of Edarbyclor which enables a more steady blood pressure control.
So, nothing to worry about!
As you have switched to a new drug, I recommend closely monitoring your blood pressure values (several times daily) for a couple of days up to a week and to consult those values with the prescribing physician.
In such way, it would be possible to properly define the best daily anti-hypertensives dosage.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
In case of any further uncertainties, feel free to ask me again!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Regarding right heart catheterization, I could say it is a standard procedure; done by the hands of an invasive cardiologist is quite a piece of cake.
So, nothing to worry about!
It is performed in a few minutes and you will not have enough time to be stressed upon.
It is quite safe and easily performed.
When done through the arm, it will allow you to be activated much earlier after the procedure.
Meanwhile, you can continue taking Aspirin safely.
There is not any special issue to be concerned about.
So just relax and enjoy your weekend.
Regards,
Dr. Iliri
