Brief Answer:
can be taken together.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

You can take xanax and ambien together. Just take care of excessive sedation which can be caused due to combination of drugs.
You might feel drowsy in next morning.

They are NO serious drug interactions between the two drugs (0.5mg xanax and 10mg ambien).

Hope this clarifies your doubts.
