Brief Answer:
No need to worry the drug is safe to use

Detailed Answer:
Hello Welcome to HCM

I can understand your concern. You have been advised to take Lyrica or Pregabalin and Tremadol 50 for sleep. The problem of sleep remains even in absence of back pain. If we consider Pregabalin then the drug is one of commonly drug used for neuropathic pains. The drug has been found to be useful in anxiety also and some doctors even prefer to use this drug for anxiety and poor sleep. It has low potential of dependence unlike benzodiazepines. So over all the drug is safe to use.

In usual doses the drug is known to result in dizziness, drowsiness, tremors, sedation, nausea etc side effects. These side effects are tolerated easily and over all there are no serious side effects at 75 mg doses. So in my opinion there is no need to be concerned.

I would advise you to not to take tremadol regularly for long periods of time because the drug is associated with high risk of dependence. Try to reserve the use of this drug on SOS basis only.

Thanks, Hope this helps you. Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts.
