Is It Safe To Travel With Glandular Fever?
Question: I have just be diagnosed with glandular fever am I safe to go on holiday? I go next week
Brief Answer:
could you tell where you will be travelling to?
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I would like to know where you are going , for how long and how will you be traveling?
Generally speaking , you can travel , but if your travel includes a flight travel , long distance or going to a cold climate or holidaying in places with water sports , i would like you to wait for another week.
Rest helps the body fight the infection and recover faster and if possible , try to avoid traveling!
Thanks

Hello
Glandular fever is contagious and you should avoid all physical contact and not just kissing!
i cant tell you "how " contagious it is, but yes , if you stay close to him , he will mostly get the infection from you!
Please dont share towels or bed sheets and try to stay a bit away from him for another week!
