Question: Hello, Doctor. I am a 47yr old pre menopausal with incurable insomnia for 12yrs. I heard very positive things about placidyl, that it worked very well. What do you think? I've tried every other sleep medicine and the only one that worked was nembutal,200mg. I wouldn't mind taking that again either. I know this sounds like a drug addict talking, but i promise you ,i'm just someone desparate to sleep!I'll pay the fee if you write me a fillable prescription!
can you prescribe me nembutal 100mg instead? At least i know that it works...
Brief Answer:
Nembutal is better.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Placidyl is used as a sleeping aid for short-term treatment of insomnia. It is usually not prescribed for longer than a one week period. It is less effective than Nembutal and has more prominent side effects too.
It is better to continue taking Nembutal since you are comfortable in taking it.
Online prescriptions are not valid since a physical assessment is necessary before prescribing these medicines.
I feel that you should consult a physician for proper prescriptions.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.
