3) Theoretically, emergency pill like TATKAL 72 gives protection for next 72 hrs. Most women get a withdrawal bleeding within 7-10 days. Hormonal imbalance and mental stress are the key reason for NOT getting period. I suggest you to wait another 3-4 days to get bleeding naturally.

1) It is NOT recommended to undergo home pregnancy test before 2 weeks of last sexual intercourse if it is done around period due date.

2) Take LOW carbohydrate diet, do regular physical exercise, avoid salty/ sugary/ fatty food stuff and take prescribed medication only.

Do a blood test for serum TSH to rule out hypothyroidism which can lead to more wait gain or obesity. Kindly, consult with doctor regarding this.
