Is Pregnancy Possible After Unpreotected Sex A Day After Periods Get Over?
Question: Hi there. I need to know if i vould fall pregnant if i had unpreotected sex a day after my period had finished ? Also, i dont have EC can i take a higher dose of XXXXXXX pills ?

The first 10 days of cycle(taking starting of menses as day 1) falls in safe period.So,probability of pregnancy depends on how many days you had bleeding- if your bleeding was less than about 9 days duration(that is,you had no prolonged bleeding),your coitus comes in safe period,and so pregnancy is unlikely.
If you have a more or less regular cycles usually,you need not take an ECP for this episode.
When needed,I suggest progesterone only pills like levonorgestrel to my patients,rather than high dose of combined pills.
