Is Pregnancy Possible Through Anal Sex?
Question: Hello,
Im a virgin and sometimes fool around with my boyfriend.
If his sperm comes close to my vaginal opening can i get pregnant?
Also if we have anal sex and his sperm leaks, can i get pregnant?
I took EC two weeks ago,is it okay to take it again?
Does it have any long term side effects? I took 8 pills of XXXXXXX birthcontrol. 4 at a time, 12 hours in between

Hello,
1- last period 18-april,regular periods
2-anal sex,never vaginal
3-ejaculation was inside my anus
And on my stomach
4-last sexual activity was 12-april
5-pills were taken after 12 hours
I took EC as a precaution because im not sure if semen near my vagina can swim inside and impregnate me. Can this happen?
If sperm leaked from my ass or if it was on my clitoris?

Brief Answer:
Extremely low to rare chance.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,
Thanks for your updated information.
1) Chance of pregnancy through anal sex is extremely LOW to RARE as it is quite unlike to fertilize egg through sperm, deposited outside the vagina or inside anus.
2) You had taken XXXXXXX birth control pill as emergency pill (4 + 4) after 12 hrs of sex. It will give additional protection. No chance of pregnancy in this case.
3) Repeated/ irregular intake of emergency or hormonal pill is NOT recommended. If you want to involve in sexual activity frequently, then it is better to take REGULAR contraceptive pill.
4) Some common side effects are nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramp, irregular spotting, delayed period, fatigue, headache etc. Among these disturbance of cycle is most predominant due to hormonal imbalance.
Hope, it helps for your information. Practice safe sex. Good luck.

Chances are low to rare, what do you mean by low?
Can a sperm swim from outside the vagina to the inside?
Is there any recorded case of this ever happening?

Brief Answer:
Less than 1%.

Hello Dear,
Welcome back again. Followings are my comments:
1) Chance of pregnancy through anal sex is less than 1% (low risk) if his semen accidentally gets into the vagina during anal sex at the time of your fertile period.
2) Another thing, if someone ejaculates outside the body but still near the vagina, sperm can travel in the vagina, putting them at risk of pregnancy. However, semen coming in contact with the anus DOESN'T cause pregnancy at all.
3) There are very few cases only as pregnancy is quite unlike through anal sex, but, it can occur accidentally if you involved during or close to your ovulation day. However, emergency pill will protect from minimal risk of pregnancy. Don't be worried much.
Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.

How long can sperm outide the vagina live for?
How long can sperm outide the vagina live for?
Brief Answer:
Very few cases only.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome back again.
1) Yes, if someone ejaculates near or outside vagina, then semen or sperm may go inside the vagina and impregnate woman if she is on her FERTILE period.
If there is NO ovulation (ovum lives 12-24 hrs only) or sexual activity done in safe period, then there is NO/ minimal chance of pregnancy. There are few cases only.
2) Sperm dies soon outside the vagina. It can live 15 min or less. Another thing, you took emergency pill as precaution. Therefore, you wouldn't be worried.
Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.
