Posted on Tue, 12 Sep 2017
Question: i was a bit intimate with my gf on 23rd july. It was the seventh day of her period. her period started on 17th july. i touched myself and then touched her. can she be impregnated from the precum on my hands? Also i did ejaculate on her hands. But then she washed her hands with water and dried them. Then she touched herself very lightly . Can she be impregnated under these circumstances? her period was suppose to start on 19th August but hasn't yet started. A bit swelling is present in her lower abdomen without much pain. Previously around 7th August she felt nauseous and dizzy but those symptoms are not present right now. During that time there was soreness in her nipples. Also around 15th or 16th of this month she felt an urge of frequent urination.

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy not likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Just by touching with your fingers impregnated with precum cannot cause a pregnancy. Proper penetration inside is needed. No need to worry. The symptoms that she is having are non specific and are not worrisome.
The delay in periods can be due to anxiety. Wait for the periods to begin.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Thank you doctor for your prompt reply, I would be obliged of you could clear another doubt. Since yesterday afternoon, she has started experiencing cramps in the lower abdomen accompanied by clear watery vaginal discharge. She also believes that her cervix feels softer whereas day before yesterday it felt harder. I should mention that she does not have an experience of tracking her cervix hardness and position.. We are worried about this as well

Brief Answer:
Urine test will rule out pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The cramps and mild watery discharge can be related to impending periods. The softness of cervix is a non specific sign and cannot conclusively indicate a pregnancy. It is best to test her early morning sample of urine for pregnancy and clear the doubt. Staying stressful can cause a delay in the periods.
Hope my answer is helpful.
