Is Presence Of Protein In Urine During Pregnancy A Sign Of Pre-eclampsia?

This is not a sign of preeclampsia.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi wani. I will be answering your concerns.
A BP of 124/82 and trace protein in urine is not a sign of preeclampsia.
However please note that a rise in the diastolic blood pressure of at least 15 mmHG and a rise in the systolic blood pressure of at least 30 mmHg as compared to your earlier BP (recorded in early pregnancy) is also considered as a sign of preeclampsia.
Is this your first pregnancy? Do attend antenatal follow ups regularly. The incidence of preeclampsia is one in 10-12 pregnancies. So relax and enjoy your pregnancy.
I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns,
I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Occurrence of preeclampsia in the second pregnancy is extremely unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Did you have preeclampsia in first pregnancy? If yes, then there is a small possibility of recurrence.
If you did not have preeclampsia in first pregnancy, its occurrence in the second pregnancy is extremely unlikely. So do not worry at all.
I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns, do write to me.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Trace protein in urine does not suggest preeclampsia.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Trace protein in urine does not suggest anything.
There are several reasons for trace protein in urine.
It could just be due to urine mixed with vaginal discharge.
Try to relax. Your's is a low risk pregnancy.
