Is Reduction In Height Possible In A 54 Year Old?
Question: I recently found out i am 5 feet 9 inches tall. I have always been 5 feet 11 is this normal

I have in fact gone down in height . I suffer from anklosing spondylitis and injured my back in a slip and fall on 1-9-14. I am under the care of a rheumatologist. I am in pain most all of the time and i am 5fett 9 inches tall now ,but before the fall i was 5feet 11 how can this be

Ankylosing spondylitis leads to curvature of spine.which may be causing relative reduction in your height It is not the real reduction height .
Continue to be under care of Rheumatologist .and take pain killers as and when necessary.
