Is Robotic Surgery For Hysterectomy More Expensive Than Traditional?
Also do I have a choice in which I prefer?
Robotic surgery is costly
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion the experience with robotic surgery might be limited and varies with hospitals and surgeons.
It might be used for extensive surgery in case of carcinomas where it might confer more benefits than traditional methods.
There are different types of hysterectomy:-
1)Total abdominal hysterectomy(TAH)-Big incision, more hospitalization and more time for recovery.
2)Laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH) and total laparoscopic hysterectomy(TLH).
3)Vaginal hysterectomy(VH).
4)Robotic hysterectomy(RH).
Among all VH has less complications ,less invasive and cost effective.
If VH is not possible next option might be LAVH or TLH which also are less invasive with less cost and complications. XXXXXXX is also cost effective but takes more time for recovery than all the procedures.
RH is also less invasive but it might be very costly than all the traditional procedures and it might be restricted to a few conditions when its benefits are more.

Choice depends after examination and ultrasound
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion enlarged uterus, bloating, pain during and after intercourse might suggest pelvic inflammatory disease(PID).
Here the surgeon after physical examination and ultrasound decides whether VH can be done or not.
Slightly bulky uterus might be taken up for
VH but it is the surgeon who has to decide depending on the condition.
If VH is not possible next option might be TLH or LAVH.
PID or any other problem can be tried with medical managements first and if not subsiding and is really troublesome go for hysterectomy because 30 years of age is too young to opt for surgery.
Early surgery means early induction of menopause and its symptoms.

Surgery is the only treatment for adenomyosis
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.I am sorry for your condition.
In my opinion depending on the symptoms I
felt it to be PID.PID is due to many causes and STD is one of them.
Adenomyosis also presents with pain but might be associated with heavy bleeding during menstruation.
And adenomyosis has no medical treatment and only the option might be surgery.
VH can be performed upto < 14 weeks size of uterus. This size can be known by pervaginal examination and ultrasound. So discuss regarding that with your consultant.
