Is Severe Buttock Pain After A Fall A Symptom Of Fracture?

Question: Hi, About 10 days ago, while hiking in the woods, I slipped on a rock and fell on my bum. Luckily my left arm softened the fall and I fell a little more on the left side of my bum. It was painful on the moment but now it only hurts (sensitive) when I put the pressure on my left leg only. However when I fell, I also heard a snap in the left middle side of my back. Again I'm doing ok but the sensitivity is there most of the time. Should I seek medical attention or I should heal on my own. Thanks.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It seems to be soft tissue injury, treatment of it is rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. vitamin B and C is helpful in recovery. It is unlikely to be any fracture which can be excluded by x ray of the part. It will heal with rest and analgesic but it is always better to visit a Doctor.
