Brief Answer:
Stop marijuana at the earliest for well being of the baby.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us. Followings are my comments:

1) Most of the studies recommend to avoid Marijuana during pregnancy period due to presence of toxic chemical tetra-hydrocannabinol. It increases carbon monoxide in blood and reduces oxygen, which will affect growth of the baby.

2) Regular intake of marijuana will increase the risk of early miscarriage, low birth weight baby, still birth or premature birth. It will affect further after birth also like problem in memory, attention, impulse control, low academic score etc.

I suggest you to stop marijuana at the earliest for well being of the baby and undergo periodic check up to your doctor. Do necessary investigations also.

Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.

Brief Answer:
Following treatments are useful.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,

Thanks for your follow up query.

1) I can recommend two crucial things which can reduce your anxiety or stress disorder. These are a) Cognitive-behavioral therapy and b) relaxation techniques by doing meditation for 15 -20 min (2-3 times daily), listening music, watching movie, book reading, taking adequate rest, enjoying holidays outside the home, walking 1/2 hr for short distance etc.

2) Above steps will help to reduce mental stress and the need of medication. You should consult with your psychologist or psychiatrist for more procedure or suggestion to avoid anxiety. Omega-3 essential fatty acids (found in oily fish and walnut) is quite useful to enhance mood. Light therapy and acupuncture may be given in few cases.

Hope, it helps for your information. Good luck and take care.
