Is Sudden Pain In Neck And Hand A Symptom Of Heart Attack?
Yes ,Angioplasty 2 Right Artery with FFR 2 Left Artery with medical therapy
Detailed Answer:
Hello , I am Dr. Mody and i would be addressing your concern.
I went through all the reports you have attached .
Considering that he had acute pain and was admitted , i do consider that he must have had an minor heart attack and in that case according to Angiography the Right artery might he the culprit , however i would be pleased if you can upload the EKG and 2D Echocardiography report so i can co - relate my assumption .
Now considering my opinion is strictly based on ANGIOGRAPHY report you have attached .
The Conventional angiography is more reliable that CT angiogram which was done 1 days prior and had far less significant disease as compared to the angiography report ( There is some mis match between the two attached ) , So to plan the treatment we should rely on the conventional angiogram performed today .
According to the me . YES , Angioplasty to the culprit vessel ( Right coronary artery ) with FFR ( Functional flow reserve ) to the blocks in the left arteries to how significant they are physiologically is the best option . Based on the FFR results whether to also stent the left sided lesions should be taken on table .
Considering your brother is so young with no significant risk factors like Hypertension , diabetes he needs to drastically change his lifestyle like Quit smoking , start exercising and diet changes with regular medication after angioplasty would be the ideal way forward .
Let me know if any clarification needed and i would be happy to help .
Regards
Dr. Priyank Mody
