Brief Answer:
Untrue...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Sweet consumption is not directly influenced by parkinson's condition. Therefore we cannot blame parkinson's disease here. It is prudent that you stop eating sweets and high calorie food.
Further there are no evidences to suggest working on computer for hours or parkinson's disease reduces taste sensation. It may be due to reduced water intake (dehydration) or a condition related to diabetes.
Therefore my suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of fluids.
2. Take frequent breaks from work.
3. Follow your doctors instructions religiously.
4. Keep away from sweets and high calorie diet.
hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need clarifications.
