Is There Any Interaction Of Panadol With Zyprexa And Depakote?
Question: Is there any interaction of panadol with zyprexa and depakote?
Brief Answer:
Very minor but non significant interaction.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.
There is a very minor but non-significant interaction between the medication that you have mentioned - Zyprexa (Olanzapine), Depakote (Divalproate) and Pannadol (Acetaminophen).
Depakote can slightly increase the metabolism of Pannadol by the liver. But in persons with normal liver functions, this interaction is insignificant.
So, if you are taking Zyprexa and Depakote, and you don't have any known liver disease, then there is no harm in taking Panadol.
