Is Traveling Advisable When Having Abdominal Pain And Low Lying Placenta During Pregnancy?
But today I have little extra pain and also abdominal pain which make me afraid to travel. I want to travel by train for 8-9 hours, not only by train before and after I should go by car. And again after a week I would travel by car for two hours. Is it OK to travel? Our doctor told I should not travel. We showed my report to our native doctor they told its OK to travel. What will I do? Because of that pain I am afraid to travel.
As below.

Hello
It is always nice to hear from you.
I have been with you in a kind of manner since before your pregnancy period, so I always think that you are a special person and patient.
I will be very happy when you deliver, as it is a special relationship with you.
Have you got your calcium and vitamin D levels checked - even a deficiency of vitamin D can cause that kind of pain ??
See, with such a low lying placenta and pain, it is always better to avoid travelling , unless it is very important.
If it is very essential to travel, you can do so, but you should take uterine relaxants during the journey.
Please let me know the list of medications that you are taking, and I will suggest accordingly what needs to be added, so that you can safely travel.
All the best.
please feel free to discuss further.
I didn't take calcium and vitamin D test. now I am taking iron and calcium tablet and also thyronorm 50 mg. and our plan of traveling has been canceled.
daily I am having white discharge. is it common?

Hi again.
See please get your vitamin D levels checked.
Just calcium is not enough, you should be taking vitamin D supplements if you are deficient, it will help you in a lot of your issues during pregnancy and breastfeeding also.
And you should be taking progesterone tablets as they help to relax the uterus and will help in alleviating this constant pain that you have.
You can use Crinone gel vaginally daily at night, that will help, of course, please consult your gynecologist about this suggestion.
White discharge is increased in pregnancy due to effect of hormones, so it is normal.
It should not be foul smelling, blood tinged, brownish , and you should not have itching, tenderness or vaginal pain.
Just white discharge in increased amount , or as a kind of plug is common during pregnancy.
Do not worry about that.
